Founded in 1982 by Earl Masse, EP has been a trusted leader in stormwater and wastewater pump stations for over 40 years.
Through a commitment to innovation, quality, and service, we’ve earned our reputation as a premier provider of integrated wastewater solutions. Our expertise spans the entire lifecycle of pump stations — from design and construction to supply, installation, and ongoing service.
A Legacy of Excellence
In 1982, Earl Masse established EP with the vision of providing reliable, high-quality stormwater and wastewater pump stations. Since then, we have built a legacy of helping customers and communities across Western Canada with the design, supply and service of 10,000’s of pump stations.
Our Key Milestones
EP is founded by Earl Masse, setting a new standard in the design and construction of pump stations.
Bruce Lawson joins EP, taking charge of the service division. He soon becomes a partner, with Earl focusing on the civil and municipal markets, while Bruce leads efforts in the residential and commercial sectors.
Innovation on the water – During a fishing trip to Vancouver Island, Earl and friends sketch out an idea that evolves into the E-Z Out lift-out system, revolutionizing pump station maintenance by reducing the need for confined space entry. This system is soon manufactured and sold across North America.
EP relocates from a small leased facility in Surrey to a purpose-built, company-owned facility in Port Coquitlam, enhancing capabilities and operational control.
A new era begins – With a change in ownership, EP gains fresh vision and direction, while continuing to uphold the core values that have made it the #1 trusted name in stormwater and wastewater pump station expertise in Western Canada.
